Main railway line through Hanoi.
Reflections at the Traditional Vietnamese restaurant.
Typical street corner.
Exterior wall of Vietnam’s oldest University - Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius in 1070, The Temple hosted the Imperial Academy, Vietnam’s first national university.
A place of tranquillity and an amazing atmosphere - aided by the many graduates beautifully dressed up and celebrating. So very sad to learn that this oldest university in the world had suffered bomb damage from the United States during the Vietnam war and had had to have extensive repairs.
Graduation day ! – lucky us
Temple altar.
Beautiful doors.
Water Puppets on sale.
A meal at a chicken and rice restaurant – so delicious.
