Clay pan – would be better viewed from above!
Another pretty Creek Wilga tree
Creek Wilga blossom
Pigweed? or Goathead burr?
Red River gum
Purple ‘pea’ flower (Swainosa sejuncta)?
Boomerang Waterhole – We saw at least six blue billed diver ducks, pelicans, little black cormorants, white necked heron little corellas, white plumed honeyeaters, harriers so you just have to believe me! Oh and one feral pig spotted on the opposite bank to our campsite. This escaped the week’s shooting that killed 850 feral pigs and several hundred feral cats!
Ubiquitous Mitchell grasses and Mulga trees
Pelicans in flight, higher than the moon.
Red kangaroo – too far for a good pic. In fact our digital camera has started creaking. Could be dust in the shutter mechanism or simply over use.
Our trusty Molly!
Rough barked apple (Angophora floribunda) in bloom
