Jericho River campsite 29-07-11

P1230802

River Coolibah Tree (Eucalyptus coolibah) This lovely specimen was directly opposite our camp spot and has a long rope tied from an uppermost branch for swinging over the river! All the Coolibah trees along this river are broad and magnificent, rather like the English oak tree.

A fantastic river campsite with a lovely river walk – some people stay for a week or more. Others return every year!
