Sculpter Kumari Nahappan – The Saga (Biji Sayang/Love seed) - Bronze with patination - 2007
The Saga seed was used in India to weigh gold since each seed is similar in weight. Four seeds equal 1 gram. Saga trees have been planted to provide shade here in Singapore.

We arrived, dog tired at 1am! realised that the hotel would not be open until 10am ! No where here to sleep unless one fancied marble floors. A skewed time shift on our part!
