Range View Caravan Park – Port Pirie - South Australia 24-03-2014

Similar to the Drooping sheaoak except for its lovely blue grey foliage; These amazing trees are drought resistant, favours sandy soils, and salt tolerant. It absorbs salts via its root system and transpires salt crystals via its branchlets, that become salty droplets in the morning dew. Their ‘leaves’ are tiny scales wrapped around branchlets - like the sheaoaks.
