Even more beautiful - Picnic Bay. The old jetty here, was once used for all landings on the Island. The council wanted to dismantle the jetty but the residents refused to allow its removal. Unfortunately along came Cyclone Yasi and the jetty is in a poor state now too dangerous for fishing.
