Wildflower verges - Morawa to Perenjori – Western Australia 05-09-2014

Slender Lobelia (Lobelia tenuior)   Supposed to be very common yet we only saw one or two.

Blind Grass (Stypandra glauca)   Like a lily to look at.

Native Foxglove (Pityrodia terminalis) This is a lovely compact shrub with silver grey foliage.

Parakeelya (Calandrinia polyandra)  Masses of these brilliant little flowers!

Sturt's Pigface (Gunniopus quadrifida) The flowers do not have petals, nevertheless still eye-catching by having bright white fleshy sepals, forming a ring around succulent grey-green foliage.

Wreath Flowers (Lechenaultia macrantha) These are what all wildflower tourists hope to see.
