Kwerrwympe/Munga Munga Dreaming: A women’s dreaming story
Two Warumungu womwn were travelling from Munga Munga (near Tennant Creek) to Karlwekarlwe (place of round stones) in the dreaming time. Kaytetye and Anmatyarrfrom women from the south met together with the Warumungu women at Karlwekarlwe. Here they made a big ceremony, sharing with each other their dreaming. Thus before white people came, these people made big ceremonies here about the women’s dreaming.
