A distant view of Cap Nuno – 250m above sea level
Cala Bassa a beautiful place as yet unspoilt. Although it is very popular in the summer for sunbathing, old trees line the beach providing shade.
One of a series of watch towers built in the 18th century as a lookout for pirates approaching Ibiza’s coastline. The towers were constructed within sight of another so that a beacon fire lit at one could rapidly pass a danger signal to all islanders.
