Yellow footed Rock-wallaby - this is the NP pic unfortunately we did not see one in the four day stay!
This Rock-wallaby used to be common throughout South Australia and seen in groups as many as 60-70 however because of the wallaby's attractive markings it was shot almost to extinction. It has survived in a few areas such as Gawler Ranges , Mt Remarkable and Flinders Ranges National Parks.
