Murujuga National Park – Burrup Peninsula – Western Australia 20-08-2014

There are estimated to be 500,000 to 1,000,000 petroglyphs in the Burrup Peninsular area, with about 1000 petroglyphs present at this (Deep Gorge) site. These rock engravings are estimated to be from 30,000 years ago - to the 1860’s

We had a rest here and directly behind Alan, lay this snake curled tight within a crevice!
