A pretty tea stop lovely native shrubs and trees at Bluff – hundreds of butterflies!
Butcher Bird
Barred Cuckoo-shrike- Juvenile (has the dark eye and faint baring to white chest)
Brolga (Grus rubicunda) There were two of them – so difficult to photograph from our vehicle and had I stepped out the Brolgas would have flown. They are tall, elegant, graceful in every movement. The head is grey with red band across face, bill to nape. Not a good pic to see this!
Circa 1928 – and a good campsite round the corner with showers. Arrived too tired and left too early to buy a beer.
