Put People First -London March

Even before the banking collapse, the world suffered poverty, inequality and a rapidly growing threat of climate chaos.

The future of our planet depends upon an immediate cut in carbon emissions, the expansion of sustainable technology - now and begin creating a world economy based on fair trade,
(not free trade) and a living wage with decent jobs for all.

Maori carvings in Stewart Park - Middlesbrough


Little remains of the medieval village, East Marton, which lies beneath Stewart Park grasslands. In 1728 James Cook, son of a farm labourer, was born in this village, to became England's greatest mariner and navigator.
